digiPortfolio : Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern your use of the digiPortfolio services available on DBS’ platform(s). Use of digiPortfolio services should not be construed as investment advice by DBS.
These digiPortfolio Terms and Conditions shall be read in addition to terms and conditions governing the access and use of the digibank app and digibank Services. To the extent of any inconsistency, digiPortfolio Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
- DBS Bank India Limited (“DBS”) is a Mutual Fund distributor (ARN -155319) registered with Association of Mutual Funds in India.
- digiPortfolio, offers readymade baskets of mutual fund options tailored to suit various customer risk profiles . digiPortfolio is currently supported by research inputs from CRISIL.
- CRISIL is registered as a Research Analyst with SEBI (Registration No INH000007854).
- The model portfolio (“Portfolio/s”) made available on digibank platform (“Platform”) are provided by CRISIL to DBS. Role of DBS is limited to merely making available the Portfolios on its Platform for reference purposes. Portfolios are supported by Research Inputs provided by CRISIL. Portfolios are not personalised recommendations. digiPortfolio is a service provided by DBS on its Channel(s) to help its customers access general risk-based model portfolios supported by Research inputs from CRISIL. Depending on the investment value, customers can voluntarily avail the relevant digiPortfolio service at zero transaction fees
- Customers invested in digiPortfolio prior to Nov 2023 can choose to opt out of digiPortfolio services at any time subject to applicable terms and conditions. Please click here for further details.
- By using the digiPortfolio services you agree to be bound by terms and conditions and privacy policy applicable to the Channels.
- digiPortfolio is a service provided by DBS on its Channel(s) to help its customers access general risk-based model portfolios supported by Research inputs from CRISIL. Depending on the investment value, customers can voluntarily avail the relevant digiPortfolio service at zero transaction fees
- Use of Portfolios on DBS’ Platform should not be construed as an investment advice by DBS. You should always consult your financial advisor before investing.
- The model investment portfolios available on any DBS’ Channel is for information only and does not constitute or form part of any offer, or recommendation by DBS or take into account your investment objectives, financial situation or particular needs.
- Before investing, please ensure that you have adequate experience and knowledge to evaluate and understand the investment risks involved in mutual fund investments.
- You choose to invest on your own without any advice from DBS and you are responsible for selecting the Portfolio/s which is/are suitable to you
- Seek advice from a financial adviser if you are unsure about the selected Portfolio/s or schemes. Please read all relevant documentations pertaining to the Portfolio/s to make an independent assessment of the appropriateness of the transaction.
- Portfolio/s consist of mutual fund holdings which are subject to market risks. Please read the individual scheme related documents for each fund (which is part of your Portfolio) before investing.
- DBS neither guarantees nor makes any representation or warranty concerning the performance of the Portfolio/s, the mutual fund schemes or the repayment of capital. Past performance, potential projections of the Portfolio/s or any of the investments in the Portfolio/s is not necessarily indicative of future performance. You agree that you shall not hold DBS liable or raise any claim against DBS for loss suffered by you for investing in the Portfolio or any specific mutual fund scheme.
- You agree to indemnify DBS from and against any and all liabilities, obligations, losses (including, but not limited to, any losses you may incur in connection with your investment in Portfolio/s), damages, penalties, actions, judgments, suits, costs, expenses or disbursements of any kind or nature whatsoever (other than those resulting from fraud on the part of DBS) which may be imposed on, incurred by or asserted against DBS in connection with or arising from your failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
- The allocation of assets within your Portfolio/s could differ from the other portfolio displayed on the Platform due to factors that may affect the transaction (including but not limited to market NAV, Minimum investment/redemption amount for the fund set by Asset Management Company etc).
- At the time of withdrawal/redemption/rebalancing of Portfolio, please be aware of any exit load and tax implications that may impact the actuals realised.
- Withdrawals are subject to the minimum redemption amounts for each fund as instituted by the Asset Management Company. Final order breakdown detailing the fund level transactions will be shared with you for your confirmation before the trade execution. Redemption amounts depend on the applicable NAV as on the withdrawal execution date.
- DBS would not be charging any transactions fees, advisory fees or portfolio management fees from you for investment into Portfolio/s if it consists of regular mutual funds.
- To make the Portfolio/s effective and aligned to the relevant risk levels , CRISIL would be reviewing the premium variant of the Portfolio/s on an ongoing basis and may suggest rebalancing when deemed necessary. CRISIL rebalancing suggestions will be available on the Platform for your reference, evaluation and decision.
- DBS would endeavour to inform you about rebalancing recommended by CRISIL via email, SMS and in-app notifications. You can login to the digibank app withing 21 days of notification and consent to rebalancing. Failure to provide consent for the rebalancing can result in the Portfolio/s deviating from the desired outcome. Neither DBS nor CRISIL would be responsible for any losses occurred to you.
- Before consenting to rebalancing, You should consult your financial advisor and be aware of any exit load and tax related implications.
- Rebalancing transactions will be subject to the minimum subscription and redemption amounts for each fund as instituted by the Asset Management Company, and could result in some deviation from the model recommended by CRISIL. Final order breakdown detailing the fund level transactions will be shared with you for your confirmation before the execution of the transaction.
- Signature portfolios require a minimum investment amount of Rs 50,000. Assuming no outstanding transaction, if the maximum of (Initial Investment Amount, Current Market Value) of the portfolio is less than INR 50,000, You will be downgraded and lose out on Signature Portfolio benefits like digibank RM access and rebalancing. However, the underlying fund holdings will continue to remain as-is.
- For downgraded Signature digiPortfolio customers, assuming no outstanding transaction, if the maximum of (Initial Investment Amount, Current Market Value) of the portfolio is more than INR 50,000, the Signature Portfolio benefits will be reinstated.
- Assuming no outstanding transactions, if the maximum of (Initial Investment Amount, Current Market Value) of any portfolio is less than INR 10,000, you will be unable to access digiPortfolio. Your investments in digiPortfolio will be transferred to the mutual funds section of the digibank app. You will still be able to view and transact all the underlying funds as standalone Mutual Funds via the Mutual Funds section of the app.
