digibank Invite and Earn Program FAQs

It is an incredible initiative for our valued customers. Get your friends to experience and use digibank with an enhanced Invite & Earn Program, crafted exclusively for you! It helps our existing customers to invite their friends to experience the digibank proposition.
Here’s how it works: Get your friends to open a new digiSavings account and once they’ve spent ₹2,000 using their physical digibank Debit Card, you will receive ₹250! And that’s not all - your friend earns ₹250 cashback too. All of this is valid only for the first 45 days of opening a digiSavings account.

The program is from 12^th July, 2019 till 31^st December, 2019 (both days inclusive).

You can share your personalised invitation link with all your friends and relatives who are over 18 years old and resident of India (one who is eligible to open a digiSavings account). If your friend is an existing digibank account holder (e-wallet or digiSavings) or the digibank app was installed through the personalised invitation link outside of the promotion period, you will not be eligible for cashback.

Once you receive your personalised invitation link from the Bank, you may share that link with all your friends & families using any messaging medium (SMS, etc.) during the Program Period.

Well, there are no limitations on the number of friends you may want to invite under this program. However, the maximum number of successful invitations is 20 per calendar month e.g. if the program is launched on 15th July, you will get credit only for 20 successful invitations for the Calendar month i.e. till 31st July. Post that day a new calendar month will start till the end of next month. The cashback is payable only for successful conversion to digiSavings account and spend of ₹2,000 or more within first 45 days of opening a digiSavings account. DBS Bank India Limited reserves the right to debit your account at its sole discretion in case credits/cashback posted in a customer’s digiSavings account exceed 20 (twenty) number of eligible Successful Invitations per calendar month.

Only an existing digiSavings account holder can be a part of this program.

Under this program, existing digiSavings customers can earn up to ₹250 by sharing their personalised invitation link with their friend who is not a digibank customer. The maximum cashback which can be earned under this program is ₹5,000 per calendar month, e.g. if you have successfully invited friends who are not digibank customers and they have availed the offer by spending ₹2,000 using their physical digibank debit card within first 45 days of opening a digiSavings account, your maximum cashback will be 20*₹250=₹5,000. All these friends must have used your personalized invitation link to install the digibank app.

The invitation is successful when the friend with whom you have shared your personalised invitation link, completes the following:

1. Installs the digibank app through your invitation link
2. Opens a digiSavings account within 15 days of installing the digibank app
3. Spends ₹2,000 using his / her physical digibank debit card within 45 days of opening the digiSavings account.

₹250 will be credited to your digiSavings account within 15 working days of completion of the above step no. 3.

Yes, your friend is eligible for a cashback of ₹250, just by transacting minimum of ₹2,000 or more with his / her physical digibank Debit Card within first 45 days of opening a digiSavings account. But your friend must have used your personalised invitation to install the digibank app and must have opened a digiSavings account within 15 days of installing the digibank app.

The invitation is successful when the friend with whom you have shared your personalised invitation link, completes the following:

1. Installs the digibank app through your invitation link
2. Opens a digiSavings account within 15 days of installing the digibank app
3. Spends ₹2,000 using his / her physical digibank debit card within 45 days of opening the digiSavings account.

₹250 will be credited to your friend’s digiSavings account within 15 working days of completion of the above step no. 3.

The customer whose personalised invitation link was used to install the digibank app first, will receive the cashback.

No, your friend should not be an existing digibank account holder under digibank Invite & Earn Program.

Your friend should open the digiSavings account within 15 days of installing the digibank app. The digibank app must be installed only through the personalised invitation link received.

Post 15 days of installing the digibank app, you will not be eligible for any cashback even if your friend were to open a digiSavings account during the Program Period.

Only a friend who is invited through the digibank Invite & Earn Program using a personalised invitation link by an existing digibank customers is eligible for this program.

Debit Card transactions for funding wallets will not be considered a transaction for earning cashback under this program. Customer will get cashback only on purchase transaction on POS/e-POS (i.e. transaction at merchant outlet and online transaction) made using digibank physical debit card within 45 days of opening digiSavings account. Any transaction to fund a digibank (wallet or savings) account using digibank Debit card, cash withdrawals at ATMs or DBS Bank branches, void transactions, tax payments or mutual fund purchase will not be considered as a spend under this Program.

Tax liability arising from the digibank Invite & Earn Program, if any, will be solely borne by the Customer/Friend. The Bank will have the right to deduct TDS as per existing regulations.
