The debit card is delivered within 7 working days post issuance. In case of non-receipt of the debit card, the customer can either contact their Relationship Manager/Branch or seek support via Customer Care.
Throughout the delivery process, you will receive SMS updates along with a tracking number.
You can track the delivery status of your debit card on the courier's website using the tracking number sent via SMS within 2 working days of requesting the card. It usually takes up to 7 days for the debit card to reach you. Our courier will make three attempts to deliver your card before returning it to us. If courier services are not available in your area, your card will be delivered to you in 12 working days through other courier services like Speed Post. Please note, the debit card will be delivered only to the account holder or to the blood relative of the customer after checking the valid ID proof.

Yes, your debit card is equipped to process online transactions. Please note that, as per RBI guidelines, online transactions are disabled by default when the card is issued. It should be first activated from the digibank app before using it for any online payments or e-commerce payments.
Customers can easily enable e-commerce payments using the DBS Bank digibank app.
Under Accounts -> Cards -> Card Settings, turn on e-commerce/Online Transactions Usage (for Domestic, International) and set the desired limit.

To calculate this limit, all Forex withdrawals made by the customer under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) across various products, such as Outward Remittances, Forex Cards, and Debit Cards, are included.
Effective 1st April 2025, DBS Bank debit card international spends will be charged at 0% Tax Collected at Source (TCS) for Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS) utilisation within ₹10 lakh and at 20% if it is above ₹10 lakh, as per “LRS for other purposes” guidelines.
The threshold limit of ₹10 lakh per financial year mentioned above is the aggregate threshold of forex availed at the customer PAN level, encompassing Outward Remittances, Forex Prepaid Cards, Currency, and Foreign Currency Demand Drafts. The maximum LRS limit will be US$250,000.
