How to Apply for PAN Card Online – The Steps

  1. Visit the National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) website for applications for PAN Card online and locate the online application form.
  2. Select the application type and category from the dropdown menus.
  3. Enter your name, date of birth (date of formation in case of companies), email ID and mobile number.
  4. Agree to the terms and conditions, enter the captcha, and click submit.
  5. On the next page, you will get a Token ID, which will also be sent to your email ID and mobile number. The Token ID is valid for a month and allows you to check the status of your PAN card online application.
  6. Click on ‘Continue with PAN Application Form’.
  7. Select ‘Submit digitally through e-KYC& e-sign (Paperless)’. Here, you must link your Aadhaar number to your mobile number to receive the One-Time Password (OTP) for authentication.
