Log in to digibank ibanking, go to 'Pay & transfer' and then 'Overseas Transfer'.

Add bank details of your new payee, or click on 'Start a transfer' if you had added your payee earlier. After successful processing, you will receive confirmation through email and SMS.


After you log in, you will be required to add details of your new overseas payee like their full name, account number, bank details before a payment can be initiated. For security reasons, the confirmation of a new payee is done following these steps:

  • You will be sent a challenge code via SMS
  • Open the digibank app to see the option 'Digital Token' on the pre-login page
  • Enter the challenge code to get an OTP
  • Type in the OTP on the Internet banking page to confirm the new payee

It is advisable to download digibank app and log into it at least once before adding the new payee.


No, remittance overseas is not allowed on a mobile app by Indian law at the moment. You can initiate a transfer from your mobile by opening our Internet Banking page.
