Provide the necessary banking information of the beneficiary like their name, bank name, account number, SWIFT/IBAN code, etc. This is a one-time process, after which you can initiate fund transfers to the same beneficiary anytime.

  3. Complete the fund transfer

    Click on 'Pay and transfer' enter the amount in the currency in which you wish to make the transfer, and click on 'Overseas Transfer' to complete the fund transfer process.

How do I send money overseas online?

Log in to DBS Bank ibanking, go to 'Pay & transfer' and then 'Overseas Transfer'.

Add bank details of your new payee, or click on 'Start a transfer' if you had added your payee earlier. After successful processing, you will receive confirmation through email and SMS.

How do I add the recipient to send money from India to Australia?

After you log in, you will be required to add details of your new overseas payee like their full name, account number, bank details before a payment can be initiated. For security reasons, the confirmation of a new payee is done following these steps:

  • You will be sent a challenge code via SMS
  • Open the DBS Bank app to see the option 'Digital Token' on the pre-login page
  • Enter the challenge code to get an OTP
  • Type in the OTP on the Internet banking page to confirm the new payee

It is advisable to download digibank app and log into it at least once before adding the new payee.
