A recipe for success | In The Moment: Episode 5

They say that if you find a job you love, you will never have to work a day in your life. This rings true for engineer-turned-chef Lennard Yeong, who first started cooking as a hobby, but soon managed to turn his passion into a full-time career.

“I kind of cringe a little when people call me “Chef” now, because I don’t feel like I’ve earned that title. I’m just that guy who enjoys cooking, and I get to do what I love as a job now, and I’m blessed for that," he says.

Most would recognise Lennard from his MasterChef Asia days, but what exactly inspired him to take this leap of faith? Hear from him as he shares more about his journey into the culinary world, his experience with food waste in the kitchen, and his recent guest appearance on DBS’ mini-series Sparks.
