Anthon has served as the Head of the Institutional Banking Group at Bank DBS Indonesia since he joined in February 2025. He is responsible for driving business growth in Large Corporations, Mid-size Corporations and Small Medium Enterprises (SME) segments, supporting clients in their expansion efforts and ESG initiatives.

He brings with him extensive experience from an impressive 25-year track record in Indonesia’s service financial industry. Prior to joining Bank DBS Indonesia, Anthon spent 21 years at Citibank. He began his career as a Management Associate and held various leadership roles in Corporate Banking, Portfolio Management & Credit Risk, Capital Markets Origination, and Risk Treasury (Markets.)

During his career at Citibank, Anthon was involved in various strategic transactions in public and private markets, including several senior notes issuance the issuance by the Government of Indonesia, USD3 billion inaugural senior notes by Freeport Indonesia, a IDR95 trillion rights issue by Bank Rakyat Indonesia, and the merger between Gojek and Tokopedia (“GoTo”).

Anthon holds a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School, University of Melbourne, Australia.
