Bank DBS Indonesia-Eastspring Indonesia Collaboration presents Reksa Dana Eastspring Syariah Income Global Mixed Asset USD (ESIGMA) | Bahasa

Helps customers build resilient investment portfolios amid market volatility

Indonesia, 08 Oct 2025 - PT Eastspring Investments Indonesia (“Eastspring Indonesia”) has officially launched its latest investment product, Reksa Dana Eastspring Syariah Income Global Mixed Asset USD (“Reksa Dana ESIGMA”). The fund is designed as a strategic solution for investors seeking to invest in sharia-compliant portfolios of global mixed securities. The launch of Reksa Dana ESIGMA was the result of a collaboration between Eastspring Indonesia and Bank DBS Indonesia as distributor. The collaboration has further strengthened the commitment of both parties to providing the latest and most innovative solutions for investors.

Amid a high level of market optimism and the potential for global and domestic interest rate cuts, mixed mutual funds investing in foreign securities have become an attractive investment option. Active and dynamic management and well-diversified assets are key to ensuring that Reksa Dana ESIGMA can give optimal returns for investors. The investment policy is also designed in accordance with sharia principles and denominated in US dollars, making it highly relevant for investors who require global sharia-compliant instruments. In light of the above demand, Bank DBS Indonesia joined hands with Eastspring Indonesia to launch Reksa Dana ESIGMA.

President Director of Eastspring Indonesia Sulystari said, “This product is our innovation. A good diversification strategy, which takes into account strategic asset allocation across global asset classes, namely stocks and fixed income, across various sectors and geographical areas, is expected to optimally increase investment value while reducing concentration risk.” This mutual fund also has a feature that distributes investment returns as monthly cash dividends.

Consumer Banking Director PT Bank DBS Indonesia Melfrida Gultom explained further, “As a trusted partner, Bank DBS Indonesia helps customers to expand their investment opportunities and business relationships across the DBS network in Indonesia and Asia. One way we do this is by providing investment products with varying levels of risk, currency options, and onshore to offshore sharia markets, so that customers can be confident in taking advantage of all opportunities.”

“As the latest mutual fund product, ESIGMA enhances the selection of US dollar-based sharia investments, opening up access to global investments that are a primary need of wealth management clients, and remains resilient amid market volatility due to its sustainable investment principles,” said Melfrida Gultom.

Around 60% of Reksa Dana ESIGMA’s assets can be allocated to global equity asset classes to take advantage of global growth opportunities in line with market conditions. The remainder can be invested in fixed income securities such as local sukuk to maintain balance and stability of returns. This investment allocation ensures that customer portfolios are optimally diversified, blending attractive potential returns with peace of mind investment according to sharia principles.
