DBS issues special SGD 1,000 one-time bonus to junior staff
Singapore, Regional, 09 Feb 2026 - DBS announced today that it will be giving a special one-time bonus of SGD 1,000 to junior-ranked employees.
Over 23,000 employees across the bank’s global footprint[1], including nearly 6,800 employees in Singapore, will benefit from this initiative which DBS has set aside SGD 18 million for. DBS had previously given a similar supplement of SGD 1,000 to junior-ranked employees in 2024, amounting to SGD 15 million then.
DBS CEO Tan Su Shan said, “In spite of a difficult environment, DBS delivered a resilient set of results and we wanted to specially recognise the contributions of our junior staff.”
[1] The amount received by each employee outside of Singapore will be indexed to the local market’s purchasing power parity.
