Paredes has headed DBS Bank (Hong Kong) since September 2010 and has served as Chairman of DBS China since April 2023. He also oversees the Group's North Asia franchise, covering Hong Kong, mainland China and Taiwan. During his tenure, he spearheaded strategic shifts and strengthened the DBS Hong Kong franchise, which culminated in a record net profit of SGD 1.61 billion in 2025. Under his leadership, DBS Hong Kong was also recognised as Best International Bank in Hong Kong by FinanceAsia and Bank of the Year by Bloomberg Businessweek for five consecutive years from 2022 to 2026. In addition, DBS' Greater China operations beyond Hong Kong performed strongly, achieving a record net profit of SGD 791 million in 2025.

Ng has been CEO of DBS Taiwan since 2023. He successfully led the integration of Citi’s consumer business, establishing DBS as Taiwan’s largest foreign bank. Under his leadership, DBS Taiwan’s net profit reached a record SGD 410 million in 2025. DBS Taiwan was recognised by Euromoney as Taiwan’s Best International Bank for two consecutive years (2025–2026). A DBS veteran of more than 20 years, Ng joined the bank as a Management Associate in 2004 and has held a range of leadership roles, including Head of Financial Institutions Group, before assuming leadership of the Taiwan franchise.

Lim has been President Director of PT Bank DBS Indonesia since August 2022. Since taking on the role, he has led the bank's continued growth, delivering double-digit net profit growth in 2025, deepening its leadership in institutional banking, strengthening its position as a leading sustainable finance bank, and expanding its wealth management franchise. DBS Indonesia was also recognised by Euromoney as Indonesia's Best Digital Bank for Large Corporates in 2025. A career DBS banker, Lim has more than 30 years of experience across institutional, SME and consumer banking, having previously served as Chief Operating Officer of IBG and Head of DBS IBG China.

Chai has been instrumental in strengthening DBS' IBG franchise in the Automotive, Food and Agribusiness, and Metals and Mining sectors, establishing the bank as a trusted partner to many of the world's leading multinational corporations in Asia. In 2023, he spearheaded the creation of the IBG Foreign Direct Investment Desk to capture growing inbound investment flows into Singapore and ASEAN. He also previously served as Head of Large Corporates at DBS China from 2013 to 2018.

Said DBS CEO Tan Su Shan, "Over the past 16 years, Sebastian has played a pivotal role in transforming DBS Hong Kong into a leading franchise. Through his strategic vision and leadership, he also strengthened DBS’ position in North Asia, deepened customer relationships and fostered a culture of innovation that has positioned the franchise strongly for the future. While he will only hand over the reins next March, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for his leadership and the lasting impact he has had on DBS, our customers and our people."

“At the same time, I am delighted that, as a testament to the strength of our leadership bench, we are able to appoint Sebastian's successor and make other senior leadership appointments from within DBS. Sier Han, Chu Chong and Adrian are seasoned DBS leaders with deep institutional knowledge, strong client relationships and proven track records of delivery. I am confident that they will continue to strengthen our franchise and take it to greater heights.”
