Triana Gunawan has served as a Commissioner of Bank DBS Indonesia since 31 December 2025, bringing more than three decades of experience in the banking and financial supervision industry. He began his career in 1989 as Junior Account Officer at Bank Duta, before joining Bank Indonesia in 1991 as a Junior Bank Examiner at the Non-Foreign Exchange Bank Examination Bureau.
During his tenure at Bank Indonesia, Triana held various strategic positions, with his last role as Director of Bank Supervision from 2013 to 2015.
Subsequently, Triana served as Executive Director / Head of the Special Examination and Banking Investigation Department at the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan – OJK) from January 2016 to February 2017. He also held the position of Executive Director / Head of OJK’s West Java Regional Office from November 2018 to September 2020 and has served as Banking Supervision Advisor at the Executive Director level at OJK since 2021.
Triana has extensive expertise in banking supervision and financial system he holds a Master of Management degree from the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Indonesia.
