We’ve designed our Graduate Associate Programmes as fast-track programmes to get you orientated within a specific department at DBS. You will:

  • Experience various roles in the department over a one to two year(s) period.
  • Develop a wide variety of skills and deep subject-matter expertise.

Specialise in the Operations businesses and develop expertise that will prepare you to drive innovation in banking. You will undergo rigorous training to build Operations in banking and finance, project management and personal development skills to become an effective people’s manager to further your potential to assume leadership roles. Specifically designed job rotations will give you a deeper understanding and hands on experience into the different functions within the Operations businesses. We will also provide you with mentorship and networking opportunities with Senior Management that will broaden your horizons and sharpen your innovative edge.

The Graduate Associate Programmes are open to graduates from all disciplines– we place a strong emphasis on your overall potential. At the start of the programmes, we will provide comprehensive training to help you build a good foundation for the banking industry before your rotations to the specific functional areas.

All new hires will go through a structured programme that comprises of Training to build your Banking knowledge and rotations to the specific functional areas. The Programme Manager will work together with you to customise your Individual Development Plan. Key considerations include your individual strengths and career interests, as well as business needs.

All Graduate Associate Programmes are broad-based development programmes designed for high-potential individuals with a passion to build successful and fast-tracked careers in DBS. When will the 2018 Graduate Associate Programme (Technology & Operations - Ops) for Singapore commence?

The 2018 Graduate Associate Programme for Technology & Operations (Ops) will commence in Quarter 3, 2018.

What is the selection process?

The application and selection process will be as follows, shortlisted candidates at various stages will go through -

Stage 1 - Complete 2 online personality and cognitive assessments (by The Predictive Index®): September 2017 to December 2017.

Stage 2 - Progress to Video Interview: September 2017 to December 2017.

Stage 3 - Attend panel interviews with HR and Senior Management: January 2018 to February 2018.

Stage 4 - Successful candidate will receive an offer to join the 2018 Graduate Associate Programme - Operations Singapore: February 2018 to March 2018.

Receive intensive classroom training in core credit and financial knowledge, front-to-back rotations in different business areas as well as on-the-job training. This programme offers you accelerated professional development and networking opportunities for those who wish to start careers in SME Banking. You will also be assigned individual mentors who will provide you with guidance and support.

Technology& Operations (T&O) enables and empowers our bank with an innovative, efficient, nimble and scalable infrastructure through a strategic focus on market-leading services, technology and product innovations. This is a 2-year programme designed for young talents who have just graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline and have less than two years of working experience.

As a Graduate Associate in this programme, you will
