We’ve designed our Graduate Associate Programmes as fast-track programmes to get you orientated within a specific department at DBS. You will:

  • Experience various roles in the department over a one to two year(s) period.
  • Develop a wide variety of skills and deep subject-matter expertise.

Specialise in the Operations businesses and develop expertise that will prepare you to drive innovation in banking. You will undergo rigorous training to build Operations in banking and finance, project management and personal development skills to become an effective people’s manager to further your potential to assume leadership roles. Specifically designed job rotations will give you a deeper understanding and hands on experience into the different functions within the Operations businesses. We will also provide you with mentorship and networking opportunities with Senior Management that will broaden your horizons and sharpen your innovative edge.

The Graduate Associate Programmes are open to graduates from all disciplines - we place a strong emphasis on your overall potential. At the start of the programmes, we will provide comprehensive training to help you build a good foundation for the banking industry before your rotations to the specific functional areas.

Who is the ideal candidate?

When will the 2019 Graduate Associate Programme (Operations) for Singapore commence?

The 2019 Graduate Associate Programme (Operations) for Singapore will commence in Quarter 3, 2019.

What is the selection process?

The application and selection process will be as follows, shortlisted candidates at various stages will go through -

Stage 1 - Complete 2 online personality and cognitive assessments (by The Predictive Index®): December 2018 to January 2019.

Stage 2 - Progress to Video Interview: December 2018 to January 2019.

Stage 3 - Attend panel interviews with HR and Senior Management: February 2019 to March 2019.

Stage 4 - Successful candidate will receive an offer to join the 2019 Graduate Associate Programme (Operations) for Singapore: March 2019 to April 2019.

The DBS Graduate Associate – Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Banking Programme is a specialised development programme that provides the perfect launch pad if you are keen on forging a successful career in SME banking. This 12-month programme for degree holders comprises classroom training in core credit and financial knowledge, front-to-back job rotations across different business areas, as well as on-the-job training as an SME Relationship Manager.

This is a 2-year programme designed for young talents who have just graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline and have less than two years of working experience.
