DBS' Institutional and Wealth customers usher in Lunar New Year celebrating Asia's best

Singapore, 18 Feb 2013 - Close to 1000 institutional and wealth customers of DBS ushered in the Year of the Snake celebrating Asia's best at Raffles City Convention Centre. They enjoyed a sumptuous buffet spread with specialties from the region and were entertained by high energy performances including a water and light drum performance and a LED dragon dance. The highlight of the evening was a performance by DBS senior staff including Peter Seah (Chairman), Piyush Gupta (CEO)I Jeanette Wong (Head of Institutional Banking Group), Tan Su Shan (Head of Wealth Management) and Lim Chu Chong (Head of Enterprise Banking). They sang a medley of Chinese songs, much to the delight of the audience.

DBS turned in record profit of SGD3.81 billion last year and was recently awarded Best Bank in Asia by The Banker. About 1000 small and medium enterprises (SME) customers are expected to attend the celebratory event on Tuesday evening.
