Should you have any queries, please email the Singapore Sailing Federation at marinabay@singaporesailing.org.sg.
Please note that the meeting point for this programme is at the Pontoon beside Customs House, Singapore (70 Collyer Quay 049323).
Rain
In the event of inclement weather (rain or Cat 1 – lightning risk and thunderstorm), unhealthy haze or unforeseen circumstances, the organiser reserves the rights to delay or cancel the sailing session for the safety of the participants. Please understand that this decision may take place at very short notice, whether pre-departure or after the session has commenced.
When in doubt of the weather situation, participants may refer to the Rain Areas by Meteorological Service Singapore or Lightning Information Service | Rain Areas Animation by NEA to ascertain the weather situation at Marina Bay before embarking to programme venue.
Should you feel that the weather conditions are unfavorable and would prefer to reschedule your session, you may do so by “Modifying” your tickets online.
Haze
As per the guideline from the National Environment Agency (NEA), all outdoor activities should be stopped if the PSI level is expected to go above 100. If this is the case, the sailing session will be cancelled.
We will endeavour to provide updated information via email if such circumstances arise on a best-effort basis.
To help participants ascertain if a session has been cancelled, please lookout for the following at the pontoon next to customs house where the boats are parked:
An ORANGE flag flown from our pontoon will indicate that “The current session is cancelled.”
A RED flag flown from our pontoon will indicate “Sailing is cancelled for the day.”
Age restrictions apply. Participants must be above 7 and below 70 years of age. Young children must have attained 7 years of age at the point of registration (i.e. after their 7th birthday) and are required to provide proof of age through a photo ID.
