Singapore, 15 Mar 2025 - In conjunction with Singapore’s 60th birthday, DBS/POSB is rolling out a gamut of benefits for its customers all year round – including 60-cents grocery and meal deals, measures to reduce mortgage payments and business set-up costs, and more. To ensure no one gets left behind, DBS Foundation will also be ramping up efforts to improve the physical and social wellbeing of the vulnerable, especially seniors.

DBS/POSB is launching a gamut of SG60 benefits, including year-long special offers for customers and additional support for under-privileged seniors. The first wave of these benefits was announced at the POSB “Support Our Heartlands” event this morning, which was graced by Education Minister Chan Chun Sing and Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Culture, Community and Youth & Social and Family Development, Mr Eric Chua.
Lim Him Chuan, DBS Singapore Country Head, said: “The bank’s purpose-driven DNA is rooted in Singapore’s history; for this reason, we take our responsibility to society seriously. Growing alongside the nation over the years, we’ve made great strides together with our customers, businesses and the community through both good and bad times. We feel it is important to commemorate this SG60 year by continuing to give back to fellow Singaporeans and residents, as we remain steadfast in our commitment to standing by our customers and the community.”
Standing alongside customers: Boosting savings on everyday spend, reducing mortgage payments on HDB homes, and providing a cash bonus for salary-crediting
More details on participating merchants and attractions will be released at a later date.
Additional customer cashback rewards and support packages for small businesses will be announced in the coming months.
Standing by the community: Ramping up support for underprivileged seniors
As part of efforts to uplift vulnerable seniors in Singapore, the DBS Foundation will mobilise the bank’s employee volunteers to engage with seniors from super-aged and aged towns such as Ang Mo Kio, Queenstown and Bedok, and drive initiatives to improve their nutrition and deepen social connections. The enhanced support for seniors reinforces the bank’s commitment to fostering an ageing-friendly society in Singapore and its key markets, enabling everyone to age with purpose and confidence. More details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Throughout the year, the bank will continue to revitalise the neighbourhoods through its POSB “Support Our Heartlands” community engagement efforts. This includes scaling digital and financial literacy carnivals and Getai roadshows to more neighbourhoods, ensuring that digital and financial education is more accessible and convenient for everyone.
