Bank DBS Indonesia & Easycash establish strategic partnership to increase lending and support financial inclusion | Bahasa

Indonesia, 06 Feb 2025 - PT Indonesia Fintopia Technology (Easycash) and PT Bank DBS Indonesia announced a strategic loan channeling partnership in Indonesia. The partnership is a manifestation of their commitment to strengthening financial inclusion.

With the support from and collaboration with Bank DBS Indonesia, it is hoped that more Indonesians, especially the underserved and unbanked, can access financial services easily through the Easycash platform.

The partnership is also in line with the financial inclusion targets set in Law No. 59 of 2024 concerning the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2025-2045, at 91 percent in 2025 and 98 percent in 2045

Willy Lawy, Head of Ecosystem Lending at PT Bank DBS Indonesia, said the bank was excited to partner with Easycash to jointly increase financial inclusion in Indonesia. “This cooperation is a concrete step to strengthen an inclusive digital financial ecosystem. With the support of Bank DBS Indonesia as a trusted partner to support business growth, we hope to enhance the accessibility of financing for businesses, encourage economic growth, and create a sustainable positive impact for all Indonesian citizens,” said Willy.

Nucky Poedjiardjo Djatmiko, President Director of Easycash, added that the company is proud to partner with Bank DBS Indonesia, part of DBS Group, one of the largest financial services groups in Asia. “This partnership will not only expand the reach of Easycash services, but also bring more efficient and targeted credit solutions to users. We believe that this partnership will help more people get access to the online services they need,” said Nucky.

Easycash is committed to continuously supporting the creation of a healthier and more sustainable fintech ecosystem and expanding access to financial services for the general public. Since its establishment in 2017 until December 2024, Easycash has distributed more than Rp63.21 trillion worth of loans to more than 7.2 million borrowers. The partnership with Bank DBS Indonesia is part of the effort made by Easycash to realise the commitment to expanding public access to financial services.

Meanwhile, as a trusted partner in supporting business growth, Bank DBS Indonesia is committed to developing the financing ecosystem as part of its key strategy in expanding access to financial services.
