Eligibility

  • Matriculated first-year students
  • Pursuing a full time Diploma in the field of Information Technology from Temasek Polytechnic or Nanyang Polytechnic
  • Determined, resilient and possess the drive to learn with a digital and international mindset
 

The Programme

Developed in collaboration with Temasek Polytechnic and Nanyang Polytechnic, the DBS FinTech Apprenticeship Programme will equip you with the practical knowledge and industry experience for technology roles in the financial sector throughout the three years of your Polytechnic education.

  • Year 2: You will undergo a school-based mentorship project with DBS senior engineers, designed to provide greater exposure to how technologies have been reshaping banking and finance.
  • Year 3: You will participate in a full-time apprenticeship with DBS for up to 12 months, where you will gain practical on-the-job experience. You will also need to complete at least 50 hours of structured learning and certification courses on the DBS Tech Academy, the bank’s in-house technology training institute.

This apprenticeship programme offers an opportunity to be considered for permanent employment with DBS post-graduation.

 

Application Period

The application window for DBS FinTech Apprenticeship Programme 2023 will open in December 2023. Students who are keen may indicate your interest via your Internship Office.

Online Assessment

Apply through your Polytechnic Career Office.

Complete all online assessments: Cognitive & Behavioural Assessments.

Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an interview.

Offer

Successful candidates will receive an offer to join the DBS FinTech Apprenticeship Programme.
