Repayment adjustment process

As part of the initiative towards streamlining customer payment process for loans, we would like to bring your attention to the following changes in the repayment adjustment guidelines.

  1. For any payment made through online mode towards repayment of your existing loan, only one month’s EMI amount will be considered and accepted. All additional repayment requests are to be done through your home branch. This will come into effect from 1st week of August 2022.
  2. Any repayment made in excess of the monthly EMI amount will be treated as part–prepayment, and the adjustment of this excess amount will be against the principal outstanding of the loan amount (as on date of repayment as received by the bank). This will reduce the balance tenure of the loan.
  3. Loan part-prepayment requests must be serviced through your home branch or the nearest branch.
