We volunteer at Adopt-a-Hawker! | In The Moment: Episode 31
Our host Nadia joins the DBS People of Purpose volunteers at Tanjong Pagar Plaza Market and Food Centre, packing and delivering meals to our wonderful healthcare heroes to cheer them on.
This is a part of DBS’ “Adopt-a-Hawker Centre” initiative, to support our hawkers and bolster their earnings in these times.
Other than supporting these hawkers through purchasing meals for our front liners, DBS is in the midst of organising more group buys for distribution to other beneficiaries, and helping these hawkers explore new digital tools and become more discoverable online through social media and DBS platforms like DBS PayLah!
