BY DBS, 6 NOV 2020

From printing cheque books forty years ago, to now being an ambassador at DBS’ newest branch, Christine Tan has seen how banking has evolved over the last four decades. One thing that’s remained constant is her passion for serving customers.

Through continuous reskilling, Christine has found new purpose in her current role. She is now a digital ambassador at DBS’ newest branch in Takashimaya, advising those who face challenges with their banking needs, especially given the shift to more digital platforms amid Covid-19.

The DBS Takashimaya Branch is the first branch the bank has opened since the pandemic hit. There are no tellers or counters, and customers can perform transactions anytime via various self-service touchpoints.

Amid the new normal, this is part of a move towards future-resilience, where DBS has combined the convenience of digital services with the personal touch of face-to-face assistance. Check out the full list of self service options available so you can bank with more convenience and ease.
