Who We Are

The pursuit of our strategic priorities and business opportunities inherently carries risk. It is important for DBS Group and our fellow employees to understand the risks inherent in our business activities, and to be able to properly identify, assess, mitigate, monitor, report and measure these risks.

In Risk Management Group (RMG), we develop and maintain risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to the business, as part of our efforts to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. We are also responsible for the monitoring and reporting of key risk issues in the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Key roles in RMG span across various functions: Credit Risk, Market and Liquidity Risk, Operational Risk, Group Portfolio Analytics, Model Validation, and Risk Enterprise Architecture and Digital.
