DBS Cards - Terms & Conditions

General Promotions Terms & Conditions

1. Full payment must be charged in a single receipt to a DBS/POSB Credit or Debit Card unless otherwise stated.
2. Promotions are not valid with other on-going promotions, discounts, offers, vouchers, rebates or privileges.
3. Gifts, purchase-with-purchase items and other privileges are limited to one per customer and on a while-stocks-last basis, unless otherwise stated.
4. DBS and its merchants reserve the right to replace the gift/complimentary item (with an item of similar value) if it is unavailable at the time of purchase/ confirmation of order, where applicable.
5. All prices are quoted in Singapore dollars, unless otherwise stated.
6. Merchants' terms and conditions apply. Please check with merchants for details and terms of participation.
7. Discounts, offers, prizes, gifts, complimentary items, vouchers, rebates, redemptions and privileges are non-redeemable for cash, non-transferable, non-assignable and non-exchangeable. Prizes, gifts, complimentary items, vouchers, rebate letters and redemption letters are non-replaceable if lost, stolen or damaged.
8. DBS may vary the terms & conditions or discontinue any Promotion/privileges at any time without any notice or liability to any party.
9. DBS' decision on all matters relating to its discounts, offers, prizes, gifts, complimentary items, vouchers, rebates, redemptions and privileges shall be final and binding.
10. DBS makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the Merchant's goods and services. Any dispute about the same must be resolved directly with the Merchant.
11. DBS shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim or damage suffered or incurred as a result of the use of the Merchant's goods and services or redemption or usage of the gifts.
12. DBS is not an agent of the merchant or vice versa.
13. All information is correct at time of print.

Dining Promotions Terms & Conditions

1. All offers are valid for dine-in only.
2. Please present your DBS/POSB Credit or Debit Card prior to ordering to enjoy the privileges.
3. Offers are not valid with other on-going promotions, discounts, vouchers, rebates, privilege cards, loyalty programmes, set-menus, in-house offers, functions, banquets or catering functions, unless otherwise stated.
4. Offers are not valid on eve of and on Public Holidays and special occasions, unless otherwise stated. Events which fall under the category of special occasions are determined by DBS or the Merchants.
5. Prices listed may be subject to service charge and prevailing government taxes where applicable.
6. Minimum spend requirements are for per table, per customer per card, in a single receipt and excludes service charge and taxes.

Travel Promotions Terms & Conditions

1. Booking is required for all offers and confirmation of rooms, cabins, flights, upgrades, late check-out/early check-in are subject to availability.
2. All prices exclude service charge, government tax, goods and services tax, insurance taxes, security taxes, passenger handling charges, incidental, peak season and fuel surcharges by cruises, airline and hotel merchants (where applicable), unless otherwise stated.
3. Merchants' black-out dates, cancellation charges, minimum night stay and other terms and conditions apply.
4. Full payment, including deposits and balance payments, must be charged to a DBS/POSB Credit or Debit Card.

Credit Card Application via iBanking Terms & Conditions (for selected customers only)

1. Application is subject to Bank's approval.
2. Promotion is valid for first 100 new DBS Takashimaya Visa Platinum / POSB Everyday MasterCard / DBS Altitude American Express credit card (each a "Card" and collectively the "Cards") applicants who successfully apply for the Card(s) ("Cardholder") via DBS iBanking during the Promotion Period stated in the electronic mailer and charge a minimum spend of S$500 to a Card by 29 February 2012. No combine spend on the Cards is allowed.
3. Eligible spending includes retail purchases made locally or overseas, recurring payments like GIRO and interest-free Instalment Payment Plan, and exclude fund transfers, finance charges, late charges and fees.
4. Each Cardholder will only be entitled to one S$50 Takashimaya shopping voucher ("Voucher").
5. The vouchers will be mailed to the Cardholders billing address by 15 March 2012.

GSS 2012 Terms & Conditions

1. Full payment must be charged to a DBS/POSB Credit or Debit Card ("Card").
2. Applicable only for local retail transactions.
3. Retail charge slips for the following are NOT eligible: NETS transactions, online/phone purchases, bill payment (i.e., telecommunications, utilities, town council, insurance, CPF, IRAS, etc), purchase of gift vouchers, balance transfers, cash advance, My Preferred Payment Plan and any other bank related fees which are posted during the respective promotion periods.
4. Instalment payment plan ("IPP") transactions must be charged to a DBS/POSB Credit Card and will qualify based on the full retail value of the IPP on the retail charge slip.
5. Accumulated transactions must be charged to the same Card.
6. Redemption must be made in person and on the same day of purchase. Cardmember must present the original retail charge slip(s), his/her respective Card and NRIC for verification.
7. Cardmembers are not permitted to combine spend between Principal and Supplementary Cards.
8. Request for exchange of gifts will not be entertained.
9. Prizes/gifts are while stocks last only, unless a redemption letter is issued.

Additional Terms & Conditions for Daily Sure-Win Spend & Dip (S$450)

1. Redemption of the dip card is strictly limited to the first 300 daily from 1 – 24 June 2012 at Takashimaya Square, B2.
2. Cardmembers who charge a minimum of S$450 island-wide to their Card in a single day will be eligible to redeem one (1) dip card that will reveal one of the following gifts: Power Bank 2700MAH Portable Battery (worth S$99), A bottle of French Wine from Enoteca Co., Ltd (worth S$30), S$20 H&M Gift Card, S$20 O'Coffee Club Voucher or S$20 Takashimaya Gift Voucher.
3. Limited to a maximum of 2 combined same day retail charge slips.
4. Date of redemption must be the same as the date on retail charge slips.
5. Limited to one redemption per Cardmember per NRIC for the duration of the promotion.
6. The original charge slip(s) can be used to redeem for only one of the Sure-Win Spend & Dip promotions. Charge slips used for Daily Sure-Win Spend & Dip (S$450) cannot be used to qualify for the Weekend Sure-Win Spend & Dip (S$1,800) promotion.

Additional Terms & Conditions for Weekend Sure-Win Spend & Dip (S$1,800)

1. Redemption of the dip card is strictly limited to the first 150 daily from 1 – 3 Jun, 8 – 10 Jun, 15 – 17 Jun & 22- 24 Jun 2012 at Takashimaya Square, B2.
2. Cardmembers who charge a minimum of S$1,800 island wide to their Card in a single day will be eligible to redeem one (1) dip card that will reveal one of the following gifts: Microsoft Xbox 360 4GB Console with Kinect (worth S$469), A pair of LEEHOM MUSIC-MAN II concert tickets (worth S$396), Nescafe Dolce Gusto by Krupps Piccolo (worth S$189), Olympus Digital Camera VG110 & Battery Li70B (worth S$189) or HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One Printer (worth S$99).
3. Limited to a maximum of 3 combined same day retail charge slips.
4. Date of redemption must be the same as the date on retail charge slips.
5. Limited to one redemption per Cardmember per NRIC for the duration of the promotion.
6. The original charge slip(s) can be used to redeem for only one of the Sure-Win Spend & Dip promotions. Charge slips used for the Weekend Sure-Win Spend & Dip (S$1,800) cannot be used to qualify for the Daily Sure-Win Spend & Dip (S$450) promotion.

Additional Terms & Conditions for Daily Spend & Redeem

1. Cardmembers who charge a minimum of S$200 to their Card in a single day at Takashimaya Department Store and Shopping Centre will be eligible for one (1) S$10 Takashimaya Gift Voucher.
2. Redemption of the S$10 Takashimaya Gift Voucher is strictly limited to the first 50 daily from 1 – 24 June 2012 at Takashimaya Square, B2.
3. Limited to a maximum of 2 combined same day retail charge slips.
4. Date of redemption must be the same as the date on retail charge slips. Limited to one redemption per Cardmember per NRIC for the duration of the promotion.
