Your Takashimaya Visa Debit Card is the only Card you need for worldwide access to your bank account. You can use your card overseas at:

Over 29 million Visa retail outlets
Over 1.5 million Visa/PLUS ATMs

You can enable the overseas cash withdrawal function at any DBS/POSB ATM:
1. Select "More Services" twice
2. Select "Change ATM Card Overseas Access"
3. Once the function has been enabled, a receipt will be printed
This function can be disabled in the same way.

Please note:

There's a charge of S$5 per cash withdrawal on overseas Cirrus ATMs. You will enjoy a preferential flat service fee of S$2 if you use your Debit Card at the ATMs of Bank Danamon (Indonesia) and Bank of Philippines Island (Philippines).
Cash withdrawal at DBS Hong Kong and DBS Taiwan ATMs will be free of charge.
The amount withdrawn in US dollars shall be converted to Singapore dollars on the date of conversion. The amount withdrawn in foreign currency other than US Dollars will be converted into US dollars before being converted into Singapore dollars. All conversions shall be based on the prevailing wholesale interbank rates or the government-mandated rate, as shall be determined by the respective card associations. The rate used for the conversion may be different from the rate in effect on the date of the transaction due to market fluctuation.
The amount withdrawn in foreign currency at overseas ATMs or purchases made in foreign currency at Visa terminals are subject to a charge imposed by the respective card associations, either as a reimbursement charge representing the charge imposed on us or as a direct charge to you. An administrative fee of 2.0% of the foreign currency withdrawal or transaction amount for services provided or actions taken by us in relation to such foreign currency transactions shall be payable by you and debited to your Card Account.

*Takashimaya Bonus Points are awarded upon presentation of the Takashimaya Visa Debit Card at the point of purchase for goods sold and/or services rendered at the store and other participating outlets, if any, as may be determined by Takashimaya Singapore. Takashimaya Bonus Points cannot be transferred to a renewed Takashimaya Visa Debit Card. Bonus Points will not be replaced in the event of lost or faulty Card. Points are issued in denominations of S$10. Other terms and conditions apply.

^#0.3% cashback is calculated based on spend amount on posting date. Cashback earned for the current quarter's transactions (eg. January to March) will be credited in the following month (eg. April) to the primary account linked to your DBS Takashimaya Visa Debit Card and reflected in your monthly Debit Card/bank account statement (eg. May). Cashback is not valid for NETS purchases, bill payments and foreign currency transactions.

^Valid with minimum purchase of JPY3,000. 5% discount will be deducted and indicated upfront on the sales receipt. To find out more about participating merchandise discounts and exclusions at Takashimaya Japan, please enquire with the sales personnel at the individual stores in Japan.

Important Notes

This ATM Card with the signature Debit Function can be used for PIN transactions locally and overseas at ATMs, NETS and AXS.
The signature Debit function of this card allows you to make online, mail or phone purchases in addition to signing for local and overseas purchases against this card. Purchase amounts will be deducted from your account when either the signature Debit function or PIN is used. This card has an additional risk of unauthorized signature-based or online transactions if the card is lost or stolen or if the PIN is disclosed without your authorization. However, you can set the daily spending limit to S$0 for signature-based transactions. When this spending limit is S$0, your card will function as an ATM card only.
The overseas cash withdrawal function for this card has been disabled. You can choose to enable it now or later as and when required. We strongly recommend that you turn off the overseas withdrawal option when you are in Singapore.
If your card is lost, stolen or if the PIN has been compromised, please notify the bank immediately.
1. Please make the necessary police report and avail the bank a copy
2. If the loss, theft or PIN compromise was not due to your fault or contributory negligence, your maximum liability is capped at S$100 for unauthorized transactions before you notify us of the loss, theft or PIN compromise.
3. You will not be liable for any fraudulent transactions carried out after you notify us.
4. Once we establish that the loss or theft of your card or unauthorized disclosure of PIN was not due to your fault or negligence, we will refund the amounts deducted from your bank account for unauthorized transactions in excess of $100 within 14 working days from the time you submit all necessary information to the Bank.

Step 2 - Mail or fax the form to us with the required documents. Click here if you wish to submit your CPF Statement online.
Step 3 - You will receive your new DBS card within 7 working days after we receive your application and documents. Application not accompanied with required documents or with incomplete information will cause a delay in processing.
