Cash in 5 mins* – That’s all it takes!

To qualify for the Cash in 5mins* service you must be a Singaporean or Permanent Resident (PR) with a PR status of at least 1 year. You must also be, between 21 years and 70 years of age, residing in Singapore and currently earning a minimum gross annual income of S$20,000 in a continuous employment of at least 12 months.

Foreigners, retirees, existing DBS Cashline, POSB Loan Assist Plus and POSB Loan Assist customers are regrettably not eligible to apply.

You are required to retrieve your last 12 months CPF contribution history statement using your Singpass on the spot at the branch. If you are in your current employment for less than 1 year, pls bring along your letter of appointment and your latest computerised payslip.

Note: Applicants may be required to provide additional income document for review after submitting your application at the branch.

For Full Commissioned/ Self-Employed
We regret that you are not eligible for the Cash in 5mins* service. However, if you have the preceding 2 years' Income Tax Notice of Assessment (NOA) you may apply for a POSB Loan Assist or POSB Loan Assist Plus facility which will be channeled through the regular approval process of 14 working days.

For Cash in 5mins* applications at our branches -

All Cash in 5mins* applications will be processed and approved within 5 minutes, subject to the receipt of the completed application form and a complete set of the required documents. Upon receipt of the completed application and documents, the Bank will then send you an SMS confirming receipt of your application. Subsequently, the Bank will send you a 2^nd SMS to inform you on the status of your application. Thereafter, the loan will be disbursed to your designated account with POSB within the same day.

The Cash in 5 mins* service is applicable to the POSB Loan Assist or POSB Loan Assist Plus loan facilities only.

* POSB will only process applications that meet the bank's internal requirements. We regret that we will be unable to process applications if the Cash in 5mins* system is unavailable at the point of application. POSB reserves the right to reject any application and/or grant a lower limit at its sole discretion. Loan amount is capped at S$10,000 for fast processing service.
