Mr. Piyush Gupta is Chief Executive Officer and Director of DBS Group.

Prior to joining DBS, Piyush was Citigroup’s Chief Executive Officer for South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Piyush began his career with Citibank in India in 1982 and over the years, held various senior management roles across Citi's corporate and consumer banking businesses, including Head of Strategic Planning for Emerging Markets and Regional Director for Global Transaction Services for Asia Pacific. He has also served as Citi's Country Officer for Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore respectively.

Piyush has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University, India and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM, Ahmedabad.

Mr. David Gledhill is Group Chief Information Officer and Head of Group Technology & Operations at DBS Bank.

David brings with him over 25 years of experience in the financial service industry and has spent over 20 years in Asia. Prior to joining DBS in 2008, he worked 20 years at JP Morgan, holding senior regional positions in Technology & Operations.

As Head of Group Technology & Operations at DBS, David manages about 10,000 professionals across the region and is focused on strengthening the bank’s technology and infrastructure platform.

David is a Director of Singapore Clearing House Pte Ltd and member of IBM Advisory Board and the National Super Computing Centre Steering Committee. He is also Board Advisor to Singapore Management University (SMU) School of Information Systems. A British citizen, David holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computing and Electronics, from the University of Durham in the United Kingdom.

Mrs. Chng Sok Hui is the Chief Financial Officer of DBS Group, and a member of the DBS Executive Committee. Prior to this appointment in 2008, she was the Managing Director and Head of Risk Management at DBS Group and held the position for six years.

Sok Hui is the Supervisor of the Board of DBS Bank (China) Limited. She is appointed by the Ministry of Finance (Singapore) to serve on the Board of The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, and serve on the Board of Singapore Exchange Limited (where she is the chairperson of the Risk Management Committee), the International Integrated Reporting Council and the Industry Advisory Board of the NUS Centre for Future Ready Graduates. She is also a Vice-Chairman of the Asian Financial Cooperation Association. Sok Hui has previously served on the Boards of Bank of the Philippine Islands, Housing & Development Board and Accounting Standards Council.

Surojit Shome joined DBS in April 2015 as Chief Executive Officer of DBS Bank India.

Surojit has more than 29 years of experience since graduating from Xavier School of Management (XLRI) Jamshedpur in 1986. Surojit has been a banker for most of his career and has had significant exposure to commercial banking, capital markets & investment banking and retail banking. Prior to his current role with DBS Bank he was the CEO for Rabobank in India (2009-2015). He has also worked with Citibank, Lehman Brothers and Nomura Securities.

Surojit holds a post-graduate management degree in Marketing & Finance from XLRI and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics (major), Mathematics & Statistics from Presidency College, Kolkata. He attended the Executive Development Program at The Wharton School in 2004, the Rabobank Senior Leadership Program at the Harvard Business School (2011) and the Private Equity Programme at Oxford Said Business School (2011).

Surojit is currently a managing committee member of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry; he is also the co-chair of the Country Business Council (India) for the World Economic Forum’s global New Vision for Agriculture initiative.

Ms. Karen Ngui joined DBS in June 2005 and is Managing Director and Head of Group Strategic Marketing and Communications.

She is responsible for corporate communications, brand management, corporate advertising, strategic marketing, internal communications, sponsorships and corporate social responsibility. She leads media and issues management efforts across the DBS Group and is responsible for managing and enhancing the bank's brand positioning and establishing a consistent brand identity across all businesses and markets, including Singapore, Greater China, South and Southeast Asia.

Karen has over 25 years experience in corporate branding, marketing and communications for financial institutions. Prior to joining DBS, she was the Global Head, Brand Management and Strategic Marketing for Standard Chartered Bank.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from University of Southern Illinois and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Iowa.

Ms. Tan Su Shan joined DBS in July 2010 as Managing Director and Group Head of Wealth Management. She was promoted to Group Head of Consumer Banking & Wealth Management in April 2013.

Prior to joining DBS, Su Shan was Morgan Stanley’s Head of Private Wealth Management for Southeast Asia. Before re-joining Morgan Stanley in May 2008, she was a Region Head for Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei for Citi Private Bank.

Su Shan graduated with a Master of Arts from Oxford University in the United Kingdom, where she studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics. In February 2006, she was selected by Citi Private Bank to participate in the Senior Leadership Program at Harvard Business School. In May 2012, she was awarded the Distinguished Financial Industry Competent Professional (FICP) title, which is the highest certification mark for a financial practitioner in Singapore, by the Institute of Banking and Finance.

Mr. John Laurens has been Head of Global Transaction Services at DBS Bank Ltd since November 1, 2014.

Mr. Laurens served as Regional Head of Global Payments and Cash Management for Asia Pacific at HSBC Holdings plc and Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corp. Ltd. (Taipei Branch) since March 31, 2007.

Mr. Laurens also served as a Member of the leadership team of the Asia-Pacific PCM business. He joined HSBC in 2001 and served as its Head of Product Management, Asia-Pacific since 2001 and oversaw the development and management of HSBC's integrated cash management solutions throughout the region. Prior to that, he gained extensive experience with Citibank where he was the Head of Corporate Banking in Australia. He also held senior transaction banking positions, including Regional Head, Global Cash and Trade, Asia-Pacific with responsibility for product management. Prior to moving to Asia in 1994, he undertook a variety of roles in Europe covering relationship management, global custody, investment management and marketing. He has 21 years of banking experience, covering relationship management, sales, structured finance, operations and product management. He served as a Director of S.W.I.F.T. Scrl since 2011. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Jimmy Ng is Managing Director and Head of Group Audit at DBS Bank. In this role, he is responsible for strengthening the bank’s control environment, risk management and governance process. He is also a member of the bank’s Group Management Committee. Prior to that, Jimmy was a Managing Director, at Technology & Operations (T&O), at DBS Bank.

Jimmy has over 20 years of banking experience across a broad range of functions including T&O, Risk Management, Product Control and Audit. His career has spanned multiple geographies including Singapore, London and Amsterdam, focusing on setting up of new functions and migration of cross border operations. Prior to DBS, he held progressively senior positions in Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York, ABN AMRO Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland.

A Singaporean, Jimmy graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours), in Information Systems and holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from Nanyang Technological University.
