Fraudulent Recruitment Offers

This is an important notice on fraudulent recruitment offers that have been made to individuals which are purportedly to be on behalf of the DBS Group. "DBS Group" means DBS Bank Ltd, its related corporations, affiliates and branches. There have been a number of recent incidents where organisations fraudulently purporting to recruit on behalf of the DBS Group notify individuals that their qualifications were found suitable to work as an employee in the DBS Group. Such organisations would request these individuals to transfer sums of money to them to pay for work permits, insurance policies, etc. Please note that such recruitment offers referred to above are fraudulent. They do not originate from nor do they represent legitimate offers of employment from the DBS Group. We recommend that you do not respond to unsolicited recruitment offers from people with whom you are unfamiliar. Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know. If you receive such recruitment offers, we would advise you to contact your local police and provide them with all information you may have from such organisations (names, email addresses, phone/fax details, etc.). Please note that the DBS Group (or any of the recruitment agencies that recruit on our behalf) will never ask for any money or payments from individuals at any point during the recruitment process. All individuals who are successful in gaining an offer of employment from the DBS Group, whether directly or through a recruitment agency are always required to go through a formal recruitment process. If you have queries regarding the legitimacy of the recruitment offer that you have received, you may send your query to hrrecruit@dbs.com.
