The Programme

Graduate Associate – Institutional Banking (IBG) (Singapore), is a specialized development programme that provides the perfect launch pad if you are keen on forging a successful career in Corporate banking. This 24-month programme for degree holders comprises classroom training in core financial analysis and financial knowledge, 4 different job rotations across different business areas, as well as on-the-job training as a Corporate Banker.

Being an IBG Graduate Associate with the World’s Best Bank, you will be equipped with all the requisite skills of a Corporate Banker. Through accelerated professional development and networking opportunities, as well as personalized mentorship opportunities, you will be well on your way to helping corporates grow their businesses.

GA IBG will commence in the third quarter of the year.​

GA IBG will start recruitment in the third quarter of the year, for intake in the following year.

Our training is based on a mix of experience, education and exposure. The intensive curriculum includes banking and financial skills and concepts, business and personal effectiveness modules. DBS also values immersion and field trips. After the initial training, ongoing training and development opportunities will also be provided.

All new hires will go through a structured programme that comprises of training to build your banking knowledge and rotations to the specific functional areas. The Programme Manager will work together with you to customize your Individual Development Plan. Key considerations include your individual strengths and career interests, as well as business needs.


All Graduate Associate Programmes are broad-based development programmes designed for high-potential individuals with a passion to build successful and fast-tracked careers in DBS. You will be placed on fast-track progression within the programme period. Opportunities for regional exposure will also be available for outstanding individuals who have performed well, to further enhance their career development.

This Graduate Associate Programme is open to graduates from all disciplines with less than 2 years of working experience. At the start of the programme, we will provide comprehensive training to help you build a good foundation for the banking industry before your rotations to the specific functional areas.
