The Management Associate (MA) Programme gives you the opportunity to rotate across the bank’s different departments. If you have the ambition and aspiration to be a leader, and relish the opportunity to have diverse exposure, the MA Programme will provide the platform, structure and support for you to grow and showcase your talent and skills.
If you have very specific interests that you would like to pursue or are keen on an area of banking that you want to dedicate your career to, joining us in the specific Graduate Programmes or department/ function will allow you to specialise, learn and grow.
The programme is open to graduates from all disciplines– we place a strong emphasis on your overall potential. This 24 months programme is open to Masters degree holders with less than 2 years’ work experience. Outstanding Bachelors degree holders are welcome to apply.
At the start of the programme, we will provide comprehensive training to help you build a good foundation in banking knowledge before your rotations to the different business areas.

Our training structure is based on a mix of experience, education and exposure. The intensive curriculum includes banking and financial skills and concepts, business and personal effectiveness modules. After the initial training, ongoing training and development opportunities will also be provided.
Management Associate will go through a structured programme comprising:
Foundation Banking Training 1 & 2
Four rotations: 3 in Customer Engagement, Problem solving and Product roles across the franchise and 1 mandatory rotation in Risk Management Group.
The MA Programme Manager will work with you to customise your Individual Development Plan, leading towards a generalist track. After graduating from the 24 months’ programme, key considerations for your first placement will be based on your individual strengths and career interests as well as business needs.

The 2018 MA Programme will start in Quarter 3, 2018. However, there may be opportunities for Management Associate who have already graduated to start on off-cycle projects before the formal programme starts.
The application and selection process will be as follows, shortlisted candidates at various stages will go through -
Stage 1 - Play a game: September 2017 to November 2017.
Stage 2 - Complete an online cognitive assessment: September 2017 to November 2017.
Stage 3 - Progress to Video Interview: September 2017 to November 2017.
Stage 4 - Attend the 12-hour MAckathon: November 2017 or early January 2018
Stage 5- Attend panel interviews with Senior Management: November 2017 to January 2018.
Stage 6 - Successful candidate will receive an offer to join the 2018 Management Associate Programme: December 2017 to February 2018.
