DBS in the Community
Our commitment to the community
At DBS, we are committed to be a caring and responsible partner in the communities in which we live and work, by making a significant positive impact on improving the quality of life. We believe in enabling - helping people to be the best they can be - so that they, in turn, help themselves achieve their goals.
We actively support our staff and encourage them to contribute to society by providing them with two paid days of leave for community service every year. Our staff actively participate in the DBS Volunteers Program by adopting charities, and giving of their own time and effort to help the beneficiaries. DBS is a pace-setter in the Corporate SHARE program, augmenting monthly contributions made by staff toward the Singapore Community Chest.
Today, more than a fifth of our staff are making active contributions in the local community, many through the DBS Volunteers Program.
