About #MySparkHK
At DBS Hong Kong, we seek to spark joyful experiences in that connect businesses communities, and illuminate the lives of people everywhere through creativity and innovation. As such we are calling on the people of Hong Kong to ignite their imagination and ambitions through "#MySparkHK", a joyful and meaningful community-driven experience. As part of "#MySparkHK", one-of-a-kind giant letters — created by award-winning London-based illustrator Sean Freeman — will be available for the public to ignite their joy and creativity through their own personal and meaningful words, to bring a smile to anyone and everyone.
Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong Foundation
MAWHK was founded in 1989. It was registered as a non-profit charity organisation in Hong Kong in 1998 and became a member of Make-A-Wish® International. We aim to bring joy and hope to children with life-threatening medical conditions, and create wonderful memories for them and their families. You are invited to spell your very own "#MySparkHK" words at our event and share your creation via Facebook or Instagram using the #MYSPARKHK tag. For each creation, DBS Hong Kong will make a donation of HK$10 to Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong, igniting possibilities and sparking joy for their children!
About Sean Freeman
Based in East London, UK, Sean Freeman specialises in creative typography, illustration and art direction, album cover design, vintage advertising package, and modern arts. Sean Freeman has held exhibitions in New York, the Netherlands, Thailand and London. His "Absolute Siam Fashion Capital" exhibition at the Siam Center, Bangkok has also won high praise. Having won numerous awards, including the "2012 GRAPHIS BEST DESIGN - gold award", the "TYPE DIRECTORS CLUB - CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE" for 2012, 2013 and 2015. Sean is recognised as a master of creative typography.
