For the first time, SE Bootcamp 2021 offers three free MasterClass sessions for the wider public


SE Bootcamp 2021 offers four intensive classes for 20 selected social enterprises


Indonesia, 17 Sep 2021 - Bank DBS Indonesia through DBS Foundation, in collaboration with Instellar, held DBS Foundation Social Enterprise (SE) Bootcamp 2021, an acceleration program that focuses on solving social problems through business innovations. The SE Bootcamp is an ongoing program held to support social enterprises in achieving business growth, adapting to the new normal, and optimizing social impacts on society. Unlike previous years, SE Bootcamp 2021 is not only intended for social enterprises and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), but also for people who want to learn more about developing socially impactful businesses together with experienced business experts.

DBS Foundation is committed to focusing not only on business growth but also on making a positive social impact on society, including by giving continuous support to social enterprises. Running between September and December 2021, SE Bootcamp 2021 offers two types of training, namely:

  • MasterClass Sessions 

At SE Bootcamp 2021, DBS Foundation launched inaugural MasterClass sessions that can be attended by anyone, from social enterprises to MSME players and individuals interested in the field of social business. Each MasterClass session lasts for two hours and can be accessed via Zoom or the Cakap platform.

The first MasterClass session was held on Friday, 17 September, to highlight the opening of DBS Foundation SE Bootcamp 2021. It was presented by Ligwina Hananto, Co-founder and Lead Financial Trainer, QM Financial, who discussed the topic “Managing Finance for Surviving Economic” and shared knowledge about business and personal financial management. Participants interested in joining the first MasterClass session can register via bit.ly/DBSFBootcamp1. Each participant will get an electronic certificate and one free Cakap English Club class with a three-month access.

  • Intensive Classes

Besides MasterClass sessions, DBS Foundations offers four Intensive Classes exclusively for social enterprises and MSMEs that aim to become social enterprises to advance their business. Guided by Instellar’s business experts, the classes give social enterprises the opportunity to learn more about how to grow their business by maximizing existing resources. Each social enterprise will also be provided with a mentor from Bank DBS Indonesia to receive intensive consultation and assistance.

At the end of the intensive classes, each social enterprise will undergo a post-program assessment to assess the progress made. Social enterprises that take part in the intensive classes have the opportunity to collaborate with Bank DBS Indonesia in internal activities and social campaigns carried out by the bank in the future. Information about the opening of the Intensive Classes will be announced during the MasterClass sessions.
