To begin with, the champions of Hong Kong’s Social Enterprise Award Scheme started a 3-day visit to their Singapore counterparts today. Operating in the form of retail shops, restaurants, service providers and carrying with them social missions to provide employments/ trainings for people with different abilities, the Hong Kong delegation will meet 10 leading social enterprises in Singapore which are also providing innovative solutions to meet similar social needs.
In addition to visits and sharing, the delegation will conclude with a dialogue session in which the two country groups will share actual cases and the burning issues they are currently facing to exchange for insights and innovative solutions from their counterparts. At the end of the exchange, social enterprises from both sides will be rested with good cases, insightful references and potential innovative solutions.
