If you do not have an existing DBS/POSB Savings/Current Account:

  • You will need to open a DBS/POSB Savings/Current Account before applying for a MySavings Account. Alternatively, the monthly savings amount can be deducted from a 3rd party's DBS/POSB account upon their consent received at our branch.
  • Please visit any DBS branch with your identity card/passport.
  • For foreigners, please bring along your passport and the relevant pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoint Authority of Singapore.
  • To open MSAkids, please also bring your child's birth certificate/passport and student pass (if any).

If you have an existing DBS/POSB Savings/Current Account:

  1. To open a single name MySavings Account
    • Log in to DBS iBanking to apply online; or
    • Mail in this application form; or
    • Visit any DBS branch with your identity card/passport (and relevant pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoint Authority of Singapore)
  2. To open a joint MySavings Account
    • Mail in this application form; or
    • Visit any DBS branch with your identity card/passport (and relevant pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoint Authority of Singapore)
