RMB Foreign Currency Fixed Deposit (RMB FCFD)

You can now make RMB denominated fixed deposit placements. With a minimum amount of SGD50,000 equivalent, such placements can be of the same or different tenor with SGD50,000 equivalent per placement.

RMB Foreign Currency Current Account (RMB FCCA)

You can also open a RMB FCCA to make RMB FCFD placements or receive proceeds from your RMB conversions. From 21 February 2011, you may also use this account to make Outward Telegraphic Transfers in RMB to a bank account in Hong Kong.

RMB Currency Linked Investment (RMB CLI)

If you are looking for leverage in currency markets, you may wish to consider CLI investments that provide yield enhancements. RMB is now one of the available currency pairs for CLI, with a minimum investment amount of SGD50,000 equivalent. Tenors range from as short as 1 week to 6 months.

RMB Bonds and Structured Notes

You may also get access to bonds denominated in RMB. Structured Notes denominated in RMB may also be launched from time to time. Do check with your Treasures Relationship Managers for these investment opportunities!
