Terms and Conditions of the TravellerShield Online/AXS/ATM March/April 2010 Lucky Draw ("Draw")

1. The Qualifying Period is from 1 March 2010 to 30 April 2010 both dates inclusive.
2. Without prejudice to any other Clause in these Terms and Conditions ("these Terms"), each purchaser of a TravellerShield Plan ("Plan") through an application made online on www.dbs.com/sg/personal, http://www.dbs.com/posb/, at AXS Stations or DBS/POSB ATMs, (i) which is accepted; and (ii) which requisite premium had been paid during the Qualifying Period ("Qualifying Purchase"); and (iii) which the Plan (as the case may be) is not cancelled prior to or on the Draw Date, shall be eligible for the Draw ("Eligible Customer").
3. The following persons are not entitled to participate in the Draw:
   1. Employees of DBS Bank Ltd ("DBS") and MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. ("MSIG") and their immediate family members (i.e. spouse and children); and
   2. Employees or staff of advertising agencies of DBS and MSIG Insurance and any other parties which are directly involved in organising, promoting and/or conducting the Draw.

4. The Draw shall be held on 17 May 2010 ("Draw Date") at 6 Shenton Way #27-01 DBS Building Tower One, Singapore 068809.

5. Each Eligible Customer shall be allocated 1 chance to win.

6. There shall be two (2) winners who shall be selected from the pool of Eligible Customers and Eligible Participants on the Draw Date. The selection will be conducted at random by means of a computerized system and witnessed by staff of DBS. No winner may win more than one Prize.
7. At the Draw, DBS reserves the right to draw a number of reserve "winners" to replace any winner subsequently disqualified (the number of reserved "winners" and the manner of replacement being at DBS' sole discretion).

8. The Prize shall consist of an Apple iPhone worth S$1,040. Prizes are to be redeemed from a merchant to be determined solely by DBS.
9. DBS reserves the right to substitute or replace the prize with any other prize of equal or similar value without prior notice. The winner may not request a substitution of prize, cash, credit or kind in lieu of the awarded prize.
10. Any Prize which remains unclaimed after 2 months of the announcement of the winner will be forfeited and the Prize, or its equivalent value, will be donated to the Community Chest or to another charity of DBS' choice. Notwithstanding any lack of, or misdelivery of notice, the winner would have no recourse against DBS once the Prize has been forfeited pursuant to this clause.
11. DBS assumes no liability or responsibility for the acts or defaults of the merchant or for any non-delivery, non-performance or defects in the prize. DBS is not an agent of the merchant. Any dispute about the quality or service standard must be resolved directly with the merchant. The redemption of the prize shall be subject to the merchant's terms and conditions. The winners accept and enjoy the Prize at their own risk. DBS will be not responsible for any injuries, loss or damage suffered as a result of the redemption or usage of the Prize.

12. The winner will be notified by ordinary post, e-mail or mobile telephone for the collection of their prize and such notification by ordinary post or e-mail shall be effective and deemed to have been received by the winner.

13. Identification of the winner will be based on NRIC/FIN/Passport Number and/or e-mail address and/or mobile telephone number, as submitted in the application referred to in Clause 2.
14. The winner agrees that DBS may disclose and publish his/her name and any other particulars (including photographs) in any manner it thinks fit for publicity purposes and to cooperate with and participate in the activities organised by DBS for these purposes.
15. All participants, including but not limited to Eligible Customers and the winner in the Draw, expressly and irrevocably authorise and consent to DBS disclosing information regarding their particulars to the parties involved in the organising, promotion and conduct of the Draw.
16. DBS' decision on all matters relating to the Draw (including the Chances awarded and selection of the winners) shall be final and binding. DBS shall not be obliged to enter into any correspondence on any matter concerning the Draw.
17. Information collected through this Draw may be used in the operation and marketing of DBS' products and services. Participants may receive via e-mail or SMS, promotional news, services updates and other information about DBS' products and services. Participants may choose, at any point, to unsubscribe to these mailings.
18. We may vary these Terms without notice, or withdraw or discontinue the Draw at any time without any notice or liability to any party. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising in connection with the Draw, including any error in computing any Chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment and any notice which is misdirected or lost in the post.
19. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Draw, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
20. These Terms are governed by Singapore law and all parties consent to the jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.
21. A person who is not a party to these Terms shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these Terms.
