TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF DRIVESHIELD INSURANCE POLICY PROMOTION ("the Promotion")

  1. The Promotion is jointly organised by DBS Bank Ltd and MSIG Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Ltd ("MSIG") (collectively, the "Organisers").
  2. Only Qualifying Customers are eligible for this Promotion. To be a "Qualifying Customer":
    1. you must obtain a quotation for DriveShield Insurance Policy from 1 January 2012 to 29 February 2012 (dates inclusive);
    2. your application and insurance premium for DriveShield Insurance Policy must reach and be accepted by MSIG from 1 January 2012 to 29 February 2012 (dates inclusive) ("DriveShield Application");
    3. you must be a first time applicant of DriveShield Insurance Policy. Persons who are holding valid MSIG Private Motor insurance policies or DriveShield policies as at the date of the DriveShield Application are not eligible for this Promotion; and
    4. the commencement date of your DriveShield Insurance Policy must be within 120 days from the date of your submission of the quotation for Policy.
  3. Under this Promotion, a Qualifying Customer will receive a Car Grooming Package worth up to S$300 ("Gift"). The Organisers reserve the right to offer (at their discretion) additional promotion gift item(s) to selected Qualifying Customers (each also a "Gift"), and these terms and conditions shall apply to such Gift(s).
  4. If you choose to participate in the Promotion, you accept the Gift, subject to such terms and conditions that Imperial 1 Pte Ltd or such other applicable merchant (the "Supplier") may impose from time to time. The Gift redemption letter will be sent by ordinary post by MSIG, together with the DriveShield Insurance Policy document. The Gift must be redeemed at MSIG. The Organisers are not obliged to replace any redemption letters not received, expired or lost.
  5. The prevailing premium rates will apply at the time of the application for DriveShield Insurance Policy.
  6. All applications for DriveShield Insurance Policy are subject to such terms and conditions as MSIG may impose, and to MSIG's acceptance.
  7. MSIG reserves the right to deduct a proportionate amount of the value of the Gift from the refund premium if you cancel your DriveShield Insurance Policy before the policy expiry date.
  8. Notwithstanding clause 2 above, staff of the Organisers are not eligible to participate in the Promotion and shall not be deemed Qualifying Customers.
  9. The Gift is not transferable and is not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other item in part or in whole. The Organisers may at their sole discretion at any time and without prior notice substitute or replace the Gift with any other gift of equal or higher value. The Organisers make no representation or warranty whatsoever as to the quality or fitness for purpose or any other implied terms or conditions with respect to the Gift. Any dispute about the same must be resolved directly with the supplier. The Organisers are not liable for any injury, claim, loss or damage whatsoever arising in connection with the Gift.
  10. If you choose to participate in the Promotion, other promotions applicable to DriveShield will not apply unless otherwise expressly stated in writing by the Organisers or any one of the Organisers.
  11. By taking part in the Promotion, you accept that the Organisers may vary the terms and conditions of the Promotion without prior notice or withdraw or discontinue the Promotion at any time without any notice or liability. The Organisers' decision on all matters relating to the Promotion will be at their absolute discretion and will be final and binding. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the promotion, these terms and conditions will prevail.
  12. A person who does not participate in the Promotion shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions.
  13. The terms of the Promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
