1. How do I apply for DBS/POSB iBanking? You can easily apply for DBS/POSB iBanking online by clicking here. Alternatively you can apply at any DBS/POSB ATM, at a DBS/POSB branch, use a mail-in brochure or call our Customer Centre at 1800 111 1111.
2. How do I qualify to participate in this lucky draw? All new iBanking Customers who sign up successfully for DBS/POSB iBanking successfully done their first log-in during the Promotion Period, are eligible to take part in this lucky draw.
The Promotion Period is from 1 April 2012 to 30 June 2012.
Five chances in the Draw will be allocated to new and existing iBanking Customers who have downloaded the DBS/POSB mBanking application and successfully logged in to mBanking during the Promotion Period.
3. Do I get 10 chances straight away when I sign up for iBanking? Yes. If you have signed up for iBanking and done the first log-in successfully, you will be allocated 10 chances in the weekly draw. However please note that you will only qualify for one Weekly Draw Period only, depending on your date of successful log-in.
Three winners will be selected for each Weekly Draw Period, drawn from Customers who have qualified in that Weekly Draw Period. Example: A Customer who signs up and login via iBanking in the week 1 to 8 Apr will be entered in that Weekly Draw Period for the draw held on 23 May, a Customer who signs up and login via iBanking in the week 9 to 15 Apr will be entered in that Weekly Draw Period for the draw held on 23 May and so on.

4. Do I get additional chances in the lucky draw if I make any listed transactions or apply for eStatement facility? Yes. New DBS/POSB iBanking Customers will be given one additional lucky Draw chance per transaction, if they successfully perform any of the iBanking transactions listed below via iBanking or mBanking, during the Promotion Period.
You will also receive one additional chance in the Draw, based on application date, if you sign up successfully for an eStatement facility during the Promotion Period. Customers who are already enrolled for eStatements are not eligible for the Draw. Only one chance in the Draw will be awarded, in the event a Customer makes more than one application during the Promotion Period.
The cap of 20 chances per Customer per Weekly Draw Period applies.
5. What is DBS mBanking? DBS mBanking gives you the freedom and convenience of using your mobile phone to access DBS iBanking's most popular features. You can check your account balance, view transaction history (up to 90 days), transfer funds, and pay bills to your existing payees.

6. Do I get additional 5 chances in the lucky draw if I download mBanking? Yes. If you have downloaded mBanking and successfully logged in to mBanking during the Promotion Period, five additional chances in the applicable Weekly Draw Period shall be allocated to you, again subject to the cap of 20 chances per Customer per Weekly Draw Period.
7. What do you mean by the cap of 20 chances per Weekly Draw Period? This is the maximum number of Draw chances that a Customer may receive per Weekly Draw Period, regardless of the number of qualifying transactions undertaken.
Example: A customer qualifies for chances in a Weekly Draw Period as follows: 1.) signed up and logged in to iBanking (10 chances) 2.) performed ten listed transactions (10 chances) 3.) downloaded and logged in to mBanking (5 chances)
This makes a total of 25 chances but only 20 chances will be allocated. For each subsequent Weekly Draw Period, the counter is reset, so that the same Customer can still earn chances, again subject to the cap of 20 chances per customer per Weekly Draw Period.
8. What are the listed transactions? They are as follows: - Funds transfer - Bill payment - Remittance - Add GIRO arrangement
9. Can I exchange the prizes for cash? No. We regret to inform you that prizes are not replaceable, transferable nor exchangeable.
10. What is the total value of the prizes? Each prize is worth $1,000 so the total value of the prizes is S$39,000.
11. What is this QR Code? QR code is defined as a special matrix barcode or two-dimensional code. It has black modules which are set in a square pattern having white background. There is concealed information in the form of URL, text or any other form of data. In short, QR code is the effective mode of communication and hence it is widely used for receiving and sending information. Please note that every QR Code is unique. For this iBanking promotion, you will see the below QR code in all our communications.

12. Who can scan the QR Code? Only iPhone and Andriod users are able to scan this QR Code.
13. How do I scan the QR Code? Before you can scan the QR Code, you will need to download the DBS or POSB scanner from app store. Next, simply put your smartphone over the QR Code and it will be scanned instantly and automatically.
14. What would be shown on my smartphone screen after I scan the QR code? After you have scanned the QR code successfully, you will be directed to our Mobile landing page which will show you the different ways to apply for iBanking. |
