DBS iBanking Funds Transfer

With effect from Sunday 24 May, you can enjoy more peace of mind as we will be introducing a layer of authentication whenever you transfer funds to third party DBS/POSB accounts or to accounts in other banks. To confirm each funds transfer instruction, you will now need to key in your DBS iB Secure PIN.

Funds Transfer

  • To Own Account*
    You can transfer money between your DBS Savings/Savings Plus, S$ Current, Autosave & Cashline, and POSB Savings, Current & Children Development Account. Your credit card can also be used as a debiting account and the cash advance and interest fee will apply.

  • To 3rd Party Account (DBS/POSB account)
    You can transfer money to another person's DBS Savings/Savings Plus, S$ Current & Autosave, and POSB Savings, Current & Children Development Account, or to a company's DBS Current/Corporate Plus Account. You may also set your transfer date up to 30 days in advance. Your credit card can also be used as a debiting account and the cash advance and interest fee will apply. Your Cashline account can also be used to transfer funds to a 3rd party account and the prevailing interest rates will apply.

  • To Other Bank's Account
    You can transfer money to another bank's account other than DBS' / POSB's. Your credit card can also be used as a debiting account and the cash advance interest fee will apply. Your Cashline account can also be used to transfer funds to a 3rd party account and the prevailing interest rates will apply.

Note: For Funds Transfer to 3rd Party Account and to Other Bank's Account, DBS iB Secure PIN is required for your added security. Upon successful transfer of S$1,000 and above, an SMS notification will be sent to your registered iB Message mobile number.

Funds Transfer Application

  • 3rd Party Funds Transfer Application
    You have to add payee details using one time password before you can transfer funds to a DBS/POSB account. Upon application, you can begin transferring funds to another DBS/POSB account.

  • Interbank Funds Transfer Application
    You have to add payee details using one time password before you can transfer funds to other bank's account. Upon application, you can begin transferring funds to the account.

Note: For Application of 3rd Party Account and to Other Bank's Account, you will need iB Message (SMS OTP). Upon successful application, an SMS notification will be sent to your registered iB Message mobile number.

Funds Transfer Termination

  • 3rd Party Funds Transfer termination
    You may terminate inactive DBS/POSB payee details at anytime.

  • Interbank Funds Transfer termination
    You may terminate inactive Interbank payee details at anytime.

Funds Transfer Limit Management
The default funds transfer limit for your own account and 3rd party account is $5,000 and funds transfer to Other Bank's Account is $1,000. You can manage your own daily transfer limits for the 3rd Party Funds Transfer and Interbank Funds Transfer services.

Deactivate Funds Transfer Services
You may choose to deactivate the 3rd Party Funds Transfer and/or Interbank Funds Transfer if you do not wish to make use of the service.

View / Delete Future Funds Transfer
You may view the details/status of your future dated 1st Party, 3rd Party and Interbank funds transfers, and delete pending transfers.
