Redeem Your Home Loan

Please note that redemption made within a commitment period may be subject to prepayment charges and/or clawback of fees, where applicable.

A three-month notice period is required for us to process your written instruction, you may refer to the Terms and Conditions for further details.

You should appoint a law firm to handle your redemption. If you would like to serve the notice of redemption yourself, please complete and mail this form to the address specified.

  • Scenario 1: I am selling my house.

    Now that you are selling your property, have you spoken to us for a great deal on your new home?

    If you are our returning customer and signing up for a new home loan, you are entitled to 0.10% off the first year interest rate on prevailing home loan packages.

    Important Note:

    • The promotion is open only to existing DBS housing loan customers who have redeemed their housing loan due to sale of the mortgaged property and have accepted a new housing loan with the Bank ("Replacement Loan").
    • The Replacement Loan must be accepted before 31 December 2011.
    • The Replacement Loan must not be referred by a third party.
    • Approval of credit facilities is at the discretion of DBS.
    • This promotion may be withdrawn at any time without notice.

    Upon full repayment, it is a requirement for you to appoint a law firm to arrange for the discharge of your mortgage. The Bank will release its charges over your property and return the Title Deed, along with other security documents, back to you. If you choose to leave your security documents with the Bank, a safekeeping fee will be applicable.
