Worldwide Access to cash
Your DBS ATM Bank Card provides you with worldwide access to your bank account. You can use your card overseas PLUS ATMs network.

You can enable the overseas cash withdrawal function at any DBS/POSB ATM:

  1. Go to second page under the "More Services" Tab
  2. Go to "Change ATM Card Overseas Access"
  3. Once the function has been enabled, a receipt will be printed

This function can be disabled in the same way.

Please note:

  1. There's a charge of S$5 per cash withdrawal on overseas Visa/PLUS ATMs. You will enjoy a preferential flat service fee of S$2 if you use your Visa/PLUS ATM Card at the ATMs of Bank Danamon (Indonesia), Bank of Central Asia (BCA, Indonesia), HDFC (India) and Bank of Phillipines Island.
  2. Cash withdrawal at DBS Hong Kong, DBS Indonesia and DBS Taiwan ATMs will be free of charge.
  3. There is no service fee for overseas purchases.
  4. The amount withdrawn in US dollars shall be converted to Singapore dollars on the date of conversion. The amount withdrawn in foreign currency other than US Dollars will be converted into US dollars before being converted into Singapore dollars. All conversions shall be based on the prevailing wholesale interbank rates or the government-mandated rate, as shall be determined by the respective card associations. The rate used for the conversion may be different from the rate in effect on the date of the transaction due to market fluctuation.
  5. The amount withdrawn in foreign currency at overseas ATMs or purchases made in foreign currency at Visa terminals are subject to a charge imposed by the respective card associations, either as a reimbursement charge representing the charge imposed on us or as a direct charge to you. An administrative fee of 2.0% of the foreign currency withdrawal or transaction amount for services provided or actions taken by us in relation to such foreign currency transactions shall be payable by you and debited to your Card Account.

Eligibility

  • Personal or Joint-Alternate DBS Savings/Current account holder
  • Individuals aged 12 years old & above
  • Parental consent is required if individuals are aged between 12 to 15 years old

Transaction Limits

  • Cash withdrawal - Up to $3,000 daily.
  • Funds Transfer to third party accounts - Up to $5,000 daily.
  • Fixed Deposit placement to third party accounts - Up to $5,000 daily.
  • NETS $2,000 daily.
  • Share Trading/Rights Application $100,000 each daily.
