You may visit any POSB/DBS ATMS islandwide to credit the remaining stored value into your bank account. Please note that an ATM card is required during the refund.
Alternatively, you can get your refund by calling the 24-hour DBS Prepaid Card Hotline at (65) 6773 7243. A refund by cheque will require 14 working days to process upon confirmation.
Please note a $5 Service fee is applicable for each refund.
Your Prepaid Card has an ez-link purse if it carries the ez-link logo on the reverse side, bottom left-hand corner of the card. Your Card will also carry an engraved 16-digit CAN number on the reverse side.
If your Prepaid Card comes with the ez-link purse, you can top up your ez-link purse at all regular ez-link card top up points. These include General Ticketing Machines (GTM), TransitLink Add Value Machines (AVM), TransitLink Ticket Office, Passenger Service Centres at MRT Stations, all DBS and POSB ATMs and all AXS D-Pay Stations and 7-Eleven Stores.
Alternatively, you may wish to apply for EZ-Reload by Visa by linking the ez-link purse to any other Visa debit or credit card. For 7-Eleven and EZ-Reload top up options, you'll have to pay a fee of S$0.50 and S$0.25 respectively. Note on AXS Machines: Please insert card face with design of the Mascot's "legs" into the machine first. For more information on the use of the ez-link purse, please visit www.ezlink.com.sg.
The life span of the ez-link purse in a Prepaid Card is five years. This means that even though the Prepaid Card has expired on 31 December 2011, the ez-link purse can be used till it reaches its life span of 5 years from the Card issuance date.
You can check the expiry date of the ez-link purse embedded in your Card by placing your Card on the external reader on any General Ticketing Machines (GTM) or TransitLink Add Value Machines (AVM) and reviewing the Transaction History.
You may proceed to any TransitLink Ticket Office to request for a refund. If the ez-link purse is readable and not activated for any EZ-Reload facility, an immediate refund in cash can be made at the Ticket Office.
In the event that an immediate refund cannot be made, then a deferred refund will be processed. In such circumstances, your Card may be retained. Please note that there is no refund for unused travel pass.
