DBS Cards - Application Checklist
Debit Cards
To apply, all you need is a signature-operated DBS Savings Plus, DBS AutoSave or POSB Passbook Savings Account. If you don't have an account and would like to open one, come in and see us.
Credit Cards
You need to be above 21 years of age when you apply for a credit card. Unless otherwise stated for the respective type of card, you will also need to earn a minimum gross annual income of S$30,000 (if you're a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident) or S$45,000 if you're a foreigner.
You will also need to send us some documentation. Please check which of the following applies to you:
If you're a salaried employee you will need:
- A copy of your NRIC (front and back), and
- Your latest 12 months' CPF Contribution History Statement (you can click here to submit via CPF Weblink with your Singpass access) or latest Income Tax Notice of Assessment and computerised payslip
If you're commissioned or earn a variable income you will need:
- A copy of your NRIC (front and back), and
- Your latest 12 months' CPF Contribution History Statement (you can click here to submit via CPF Weblink with your Singpass access or Income Tax Notices of Assessment for the past 2 years
If you're self-employed you will need:
- A copy of your NRIC (front and back), and
- Income Tax Notices of Assessment for the past 2 years
If you're not a Singaporean or Permanent Resident, you will need:
- A valid passport and employment pass with at least 3 months' validity
- Your latest Income Tax Notice of Assessment or a company letter certifying your employment and salary or your latest computerised payslip (all in Singapore dollars)
- Please update us immediately if you are granted Singapore citizenship or permanent resident status.
For supplementary cards you will need:
- A copy of their NRIC (front and back) or their passport
- If they're younger than 18 years old you will need:
A letter of acceptance from an overseas institute to certify they are going for overseas studies or a letter to confirm they are traveling for at least 1 month.
