Frequently Asked Questions
- How do you calculate the minimum average daily balance for the month? When will the fee be deducted from my account?
We will total up the daily end-day balance in your account and divide it by the number of days in the month. If the average daily balance falls below the minimum balance stipulated for the account, the fall-below fee will be debited from your account at the end of the month.

I have a few accounts with the Bank. How can I avoid paying some of the fees?
We encourage you to consolidate your accounts as the fees are imposed on a "per account" basis. This way, you can better manage your money, and at the same time, avoid some of the fees.

Why do you have to impose charges for cheque books?
The cheque book fee will cover part of the costs of providing the cheques and processing of these cheques drawn on the account. The Bank aims to encourage more customers to use the various electronic payment modes such as standing orders, GIRO, ATMs, Internet Banking and Phone Banking to transfer funds and pay bills instead of issuing cheques.
