Securities Services aims to be a leading regional provider in Custodial and domestic Fund Administration. With more than 20 years of experience in the custody business, we are a leader in sub-custody and domestic custody in Singapore with an estimated 30% of the market share. As at end June 2005, assets under custody with DBS Singapore was in excess of USD82 billion.

Our strengths lie in our ability to provide top quality custody services, our in-depth knowledge and expertise of the Asian markets, and our strong commitment to customise, innovate and meet the unique needs of institutional clients globally. Our clientele comprises the major global custodians from the US and Europe, government agencies, insurance companies, pension funds, investment managers, broker-dealers and major investment banks.

Our best-in-class custody services，covering inter-alia securities custody and safekeeping, settlement of trades， corporate actions，and market information updates, are available in Singapore, Hong Kong and other selected markets. Our clients also have direct access to our entire range of foreign exchange and cash management services. We offer short-term, highly liquid overnight facilities for our clients' accounts to earn daily interest on any excess funds.

Securities Services also provides value-added services such as tax reclamation services, proxy voting services, portfolio accounting services and securities borrowing and lending. Our plan is to provide these services directly also in other Asian markets, starting with India, Indonesia and China. Towards this end, we plan to roll out our new state of the art regional Custody System in 2006.
