Roles And Responsibilities When Using Internet & Mobile Banking
- Check your last login details on your iBanking or mBanking accounts and notify us if you notice any doubtful logins.
- Keep your PIN and user ID confidential at all times. Keep your iB Secure Device secure with you.
- Never leave your session unattended and log off your online session after use.
- Notify us immediately if you have lost your iB Secure Device.
- Update us immediately when you change your contact details.
- Do not intentionally disclose your personal information to suspected websites.
- Protect your computer from malicious programs by using AntiVirus software.
- Check that you are using the official DBS / POSB iBanking site. You can do this by clicking on the “padlock” icon in your web browser and confirming that the certificate is issued by DBS.
- Ensure that you read and follow the instructions carefully before using your SMS OTP.
- Download the mobile banking application only from BlackBerry, Apple iTunes, and DBS hosted sites. Downloading from websites other than these could lead to using a mobile banking application that is not legitimate.
- Do not hack or modify your mobile device. Doing so can make your mobile device more prone to viruses and malicious software.
