Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the cut-off time for SGD payments and receipts?
   For MEPS Payment instructions received via branches before 2.00 pm on weekdays (Mon-Fri), payments will be processed on the same day. Instructions received after 2pm will be processed on the next business day (excludes Sat, Sun and Public Holidays).

   MEPS receipts will be credited to your account by 5.30 pm on weekdays (Mon – Fri).

2. Can I cancel or amend the payment details?
   Cancellations and amendments of MEPS Payments can only be done if the instructions have not been processed. Once the payment is processed, request for cancellation or amendment is subjected to the approval of the receiving bank. There will be a service charge of S$10 for the cancellation/amendment.
3. How will I be informed of MEPS Payments from my account or MEPS receipts to my account?
   You will receive a transaction advice at the mailing address of the debiting/crediting account after the funds have been paid/received.
