POSB Health For Life

In April 2008, John Tan was diagnosed with brain tumour (lymphoma). After his surgery, he was severely disabled1 and unable to perform daily activities such as washing up and going to the toilet without help. His ElderShield payout will be S$28,8002. Thankfully, he also signed up for MyCare and will receive an additional payout of S$86,4003 if he remains severely disabled1 over the next 12 years. That's a total amount of S$115,200 to support him and his family for his healthcare needs.
