Cash Deposits, minus the cashier
DBS/POSBs' cash acceptance machines gives you the fastest and
equally reliable way to deposit your cash. All you need is your passbook
or ATM card and your account balance is credited instantly.
All you have to do is insert your DBS/POSB ATM card
or POSB passbook into the machine, follow the messages on-screen and place
your money in the cash slot (subject to a maximum of 100 notes in any
combination of S$10, S$50 and S$100 bills). The machine does the rest,
your account is instantly credited and the new balance is immediately
available for your use.
And with a friend or relative's POSB passbook, you
can use it to deposit cash for them, too. By using your ATM card, you
can also make a deposit into someone else's DBS/POSB account if you have
his account number.
What's more, you may use Cash Deposit Machine to update
your POSB passbook without having to make a deposit.
