PT Bank DBS Indonesia (DBSI) was incorporated on 30 June 1989 under the name of PT Bank Mitsubishi Buana, a joint venture between The Mitsubishi Bank Ltd. and PT Bank Buana Indonesia . Later in 1997, DBS Bank Ltd. acquired the stake of Mitsubishi Bank Ltd. at PT Bank Mitsubishi Buana and became PT Bank DBS Buana. In October 2000 the Bank's name changed to PT Bank DBS Indonesia.

DBSI entered the enterprise banking and consumer banking business in 2005. The Bank started the consumer banking business by launching DBS Treasures Priority Banking which targets the mass affluent in major cities. Currently DBSI has a network of 40 branches and sub-branches across 11 cities in Indonesia . DBSI provides a full range of banking services including wealth management, corporate and consumer lending, trade finance, time deposits, current accounts, savings accounts, money market, and foreign exchange services.
