Functions of the Debit Card

Freedom of Choice - One Card for Many Accounts
This card can be linked up to your main RMB settlement account and maximum of 2 other RMB settlement accounts, for the purpose ofchecking your transactions. Transfers can be made freely between the linked accounts at any DBS Bank branches and ATMs.

Deposit and withdrawal at over 100,000 ATMs in China
The holder of the card can deposit or withdraw cash using his personal PIN number at any DBS Bank branches and ATMs in China. This can also be done at all other ATMs accepting China Unionpay card (The maximum daily cash withdrawal amount in mainland China is 20,000 RMB and 10,000 RMB equivalent when overseas) .

Fast and Convenient Transfers and Remittances
You can transfer your money at any DBS Bank branches or ATMs. Any transfer done to another DBS Bank account will be effective immediately.Convenience of signing for retail purchase at over 1 million merchant outlets in China and rest of the world with no monthly bills. Simply look out for any merchant outlet wherever China Unionpay card is accepted to enjoy the convenience of signing for retail purchase, just like a credit card, whenever and wherever you are dining, shopping or traveling.

Zero fee for cash withdrawal
All charges are waived for cash withdrawals at any China Unionpay ATM located in Mainland China, DBS ATMs in China (Hong Kong) and Singapore.

Application and Usage

Application Process

Individual customer must provide a valid ID approved by PBOC
Complete the Debit Card application form as well as the maintenance form and confirm that you agree with the Terms and Conditions of the Debit Card.

Application Form Download (These forms are to be completed and submitted at subbranches of DBS Bank (China) Limited along with the relevant documents for further processing.)

Tips for Card Usage

Pin and Transaction
You must use a 6-digit PIN as your transaction PIN when using the card.You can change your PIN at any DBS Bank branch or ATM.

Loss report
If your card is lost or stolen, please call our 24 hour customer service hotline immediately to report the loss of your card. After reporting the loss through our customer service hotline, please come down personally with your identification documents to a DBS Bank branch to apply for a new card or to terminate the card.

Retained card
If your card has been retained by the ATM due to machine or operational error, please come down personally with your identification documents within 7 working days to any DBS Bank branch to retrieve your card. If your card was retained by other bank’s ATM, please follow the card retrieval procedure specified by the relevant bank.
